Notice of Bylaw Amendment

June 26, 2020

On June 26, 2020, the Board of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (the “College”) approved amendments to the College Bylaws.

Section 25(1) of the Bylaws prescribe the requirements for the composition of panels for the discipline committee, inquiry committee, registration committee, quality assurance committee, patient relations committee and the education and examination committee. The amendment will remove the requirement for panels of those committees to include a board member.

Notice to the public is accessible by clicking here.

As required under the Health Professions Act, the proposed amendments will be posted for 90 days. Any comments or feedback on the proposed amendments should be sent to the College and the Ministry of Health, no later than September 28, 2020, to the attention of:
