Modernization of Health Regulation Update

British Columbia Minister of Health, Adrian Dix, released August 27, 2020 the Steering Committee’s recommendations for the modernization of British Columbia’s health regulation. The Steering Committee remains committed to reducing the number of health regulators as a means of improving regulatory effectiveness and creating economies of scale.
Following a period of consultation involving the public, and health professionals themselves, it was further announced that the reduction of regulatory colleges will continue.
