Jason Daniel Jeffrey Tutt

Registrant Member – District 1

Biography

Elected to the Board in 2021, Mr. Tutt has been a CTCMA registrant since 2015. He is trained and certified in advanced dry needling/IMS and specializes in scar and adhesion release in Port Moody.

He has already served the College very capably with five years on CTCMA’s Patient Relations Committee and three years on the Registration Committee. He looks forward to the additional opportunity of collaborating on policy and regulatory matters with fellow Board Members.
Mr. Tutt has also contributed to the work of ACTMA, serving as both President and Insurance Committee Chair. In this latter capacity he worked hard to secure ICBC and WorkSafeBC coverage for the TCM profession.

As an incoming Board Member, Mr. Tutt is eager to help registrants adapt to rapid advances in technology and practice environments, including identifying aspects of practice that registrants may be able to delegate to non-registrants. He is particularly dedicated to ensuring that the identity and traditions associated with TCM/A are maintained as the process of modernizing healthcare regulation in BC continues.

Mr. Tutt has always believed that the TCM profession can only benefit from collaboration with other colleges, and that maintaining a high level of transparency between our College and its registrants will ultimately serve our shared mandate of public safety.
