Quality Assurance Committee Vacancy

The College is seeking a registrant to join the College’s Quality Assurance Committee. Interested registrants should complete the Committee Membership Application Form.

The purpose of the Quality Assurance Committee is to assist the College with carrying out its regulatory duties in accordance with Section 26.1 in Part 3 of the Health Professions Act (“the Act”). 

To be eligible, you must be a College registrant in good standing. Successful candidate(s) should have the following key competencies and characteristics:

  • A strong interest in regulating the safe and ethical practice of traditional Chinese medicine in BC for public protection is required.
  • It is essential committee members can integrate public safety, quality improvement, strategic thinking, and risk management in the formulation of quality assurance policies and standards.
  • Experience and expertise in professional standard setting, competence assessment, program design and evaluation and insight into regulatory standards/scope of practice and policy development are beneficial.
  • Committee members should also possess the ability and willingness to meet the strategic directions of the CTCMA and the willingness to participate effectively in committee meetings.
