  • 02:00 pm – 04:00 pm General Meeting

Continuing Education credits will be given for the AGM.  The meeting is scheduled for 2 hours. Number of CE hours will be given for the actual time the meeting is attended.

Criminal Record Check (CRC) by Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP)

The Criminal Records Review Act requires that all current registrants complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) conducted by the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP) through the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General. The Criminal Record Check conducted by a police station cannot satisfy this requirement set by the BC Government.

The College will assist you by emailing a reminder when your criminal record check (CRC) is due. It is important to ensure that you have a new CRC clearance to replace your current one before it expires.

Regulation Amendment Proposal Update

In July 13, 2015, a proposal to amend the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists Regulation (the “Proposal”) was submitted to the British Columbia Ministry of Health.

Since that time, the College has continued to proceed with the development of several significant requirements it must have in place in order to regulate in alignment with the Proposal. Using a risk-based approach, the College has also placed major emphasis on collaborative regulation in support of collaborative practice, along with a commitment to reducing unnecessary regulatory burden, all in the public interest.

This update to the Regulation Amendment Proposal reflects the additional development and consultation work completed to date.
